Serpost earned 0 stars - bad service in every way In August me and my boyfriend were on vacation in Peru. My boyfriend send a package from Yurimaguas to Mancora. We were told by Serpost, that the package will take 3 days from Yurimaguas to Mancora. The package should go directly to Mancora, because this was our last stop in Peru. But it didn't arrive at all. The package were send to Talara with 3 days delay. Why? There is no Serpost in Mancora. And nobody told us before! On the 4th september a guy from "Cruz del Sur" helped us and called "Serpost" for my boyfriend. He told them, that my boyfriend will come directly to pick up the package. So he drove with the taxi to "Serpost" in Talara. Then he arrived 17:45 pm. At this time, the office was already close. He didn't know that, because nobody told him this before (although the office knew he would come). So he wasted 4 hours of his time and lost 60 soles for the taxi. He already bought a busticket to Guayaquil (Ecuador) in Mancora for the same evening. So he had to leave. He droved the 2 hours back to Mancora to get his bus. He sent "Serpost" some E-mails and asked them, if they could send the package to the airport in Quito, before we leave there. "Serpost" didn't answer and we had to leave Ecuador. So he asked, if they could send the package to our homecountry though. He sent them a lot of E-mails and used the Spanish translator for that. In every E-mail, he sent his passport and the permission, that "Serpost" can send the package. But "Serpost" never answered. The organisation and communication is very difficult for us, because we don't speak any Spanish. A lot of people tried to help us, but it doesn't work out with "Serpost", too. Since 2 month "Serpost" has still the package. My Boyfriend will never see it again, because of the bad work of "Serpost" from the beginning on. We are very disappointed.
