I had a package sent from the U.S. with two important cards - one was from American Express, the other from my bank. When the package arrived, the cards were missing. In contacting FedEx, they just said that the cards were plastic; therefore, they had no value. These cards were very important for me and not to be minimalized because they happened to be plastic. No one had any interest in searching for them and they closed the case. I was extremely dissatisfied with their service.

It's difficult to communicate with people of this company Scharff (partner of FedEx in Peru) they either don't answer or you have to insist 3,4 times. In my recent shipment there is a delay because of a Customs Clearance check. Last Thursday it was cleared by Customs yet now on Tuesday there is still no Update of my Status. Obviously they charge storage cost and every day there is a delay, they can charge you more so there is an incentive to delay their service, which might be exploited by this company? In my multiple experiences with other companies like DHL and UPS these kind of delays are not that frequent. Might cost you a little bit more with DHL from he start but eventually FedEx will cost you more at the end.
